Life these days has turned me into an oyster.
I am caged by it, as in crinoline.
As in bathtub gin, bobby pin, christ within, conjoined twin, coq au vin, cotton gin, dorsal fin, flour bin, in like Flynn, Marilyn, mickey finn, mortal sin, motor inn, next of kin, on the chin, Rin-Tin-Tin, show some skin, verduin, violin, West Berlin.

I've got nothing against oysters, so long as they aren't angling to be swindled or eaten. God knows we've all hidden our pearls away at one time or another.
Oh god this just rolled and rolled in my head. Perfect. Thank you.
Dear J,
If pearls aren't worn, they become dull. (See also Carol Ann Duffy).
Dear Rebecca,
Endocrine, EpiPen, evil twin, Excedrin, Gunga Din, Indian, paladin, safety pin, second skin, thick and thin.
Yours,
Pamela
Bargain bin, scabby shin, please come in, yang and yin.
